Any idea why my screensavers have been borked for the last six months or so?
Going back to 3.1.x for sure, and even after doing a clean install on
completely new hardware.
None of the screensavers work. No preview shows up in the sample area, and
nothing ever happens when I click on "Test."

I've had trouble with konqueror when famd is running. Try turning
that off. I'm not sure it is good for anything anyway.

Hi all.
I gave a search of the list and nothing obvious came up.
For debian testing, I'm having the following problem...
certain kde packages (e.g. karbon) give the following error when
started:
--
karbon: /usr/local/lib/libstdc++.so.5: version `GLIBCPP_3.2.2' not found

Hi,
On try to configure Cookies in Konqueror, I get:
Unable to start the cookie handler service.
You will not be able to manage the cookies that are stored on your computer.
(BTW: copy&paste on those error messages is cool :)
Too bad that I need cookies to actually report a bug in KDE's bug data
Sounds like you're running one of those CVS snapshots from orth or museli. The
cookies are buggy in those versions. If you want to keep track of development
use konstruct.

I'm sorry to tell you that this is the version from Debian sarge:

Hi all.
THe following pertains to debian testing.
I have an intel i810 chip in my laptop. If I run xinit, and do a cat
/proc/modules, it looks like i810_audio is unused, and a subsequent run of
xmms produces beautiful sounding mp3s.
If I do a /etc/init.d/kdm start and run a kde session, it

Does anyone have a problem where the monitor blacks out after ... x idle minutes? I
thought that KDE had turned on it's screensaver or power management by default but
nothing is turned on. I've noticed this problem ever since KDE 3.2 in Sarge.
