Hi,
I upgraded to KDE 3.2 without much hassle, yet there is one problem I
can't find a solution for. When i try to lock the screen it fails
saying:
"Will not lock the screen, as unlocking would be impossible:
No appropriate greeter plugin configured."
I've searched for a way to configure greeter

If I am correct, /etc/kde3/kdm/Xservers is used when your session is
started via kdm, and /etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc when you start if from
a tty via startx or similar.

When I start KDE I see an error message
"Could not start kdeinit. Check your installation."
I searched the mailing lists, and saw this problem before
http://lists.debian.org/debian-kde/2003/debian-kde-200310/msg00150.html
It was supposed to be fixed in xrender (0.8.3-2), but I have libxrender1

It looks like libfreetype6 is indeed the problem. It's funny I didn't
have this problem with kde 3.1.2 though.
startkde: Starting up...
kdeinit: relocation error: /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3: undefined symbol:
FT_Seek_Stream
startkde: Could not start kdeinit. Check your installation.

Hello, after the upgrade kde 3.1.4 -> 3.2 and the error:
kdeinit: relocation error: /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3: undefined symbol:
FT_Seek_Stream
startkde: Could not start kdeinit. Check your installation.
I cleaned my installation of KDE 3.2 (--purge and I manually removed /etc/kde3
and /etc/kde3rc)
Dear Ralf,
will there still be woody debs for 3.1.5? I could not find them yet. I
only found 3.2. Or is 3.1.5 dropped because 3.2 is available?
