KDE apps launch lasts forever

Hi For some 2 weeks since the last apt-get upgrade (unstable) any time I launch an application within KDE, the CPU utilization goes to 100% and stays there 5-20 seconds. Especially konqueror and kfm are prone to this, but any other application lasts a lot longer to launch than it used to be. I
