Hello!
I've just experienced something quite weird trying to upgrade my
Debian woody system to kde 3.1.1. After libqt3 3.1.2 had been
installed, kicker 3.1.1 always crashed about 1/2 second after the
mouse cursor was placed over it (no clicks!). I then installed the
old kde 3.1.0 kicker, but this

At the risk of getting flamed by people who don't do this for security
reasons, I have a question on konqueror. With mozila, netscape, and yes even
IE, one can store username/passwords on a per-website basis to minimize
access time. Does konqueror have this feature ? I have not been able to

What about the avifile-* debs? IIRC, they'll play windoze
streaming media.

The Kmail in Debian Woody (version 1.3.2 it tells me) does
not appear to have the ability to do "SMTP Auth" mail
sending (i.e. I don't see any way to specify a username and
password). Is that true, or am I just missing something in
the interface?
That would be a real show-stopper if true. Wh
