I'm dealing with a very strange problem lately... and it has to do with
printing
I'm using KDE 3.0.3 and CUPS.
Well the problem is that every time I try to print a document (pdf, ps, or
either plain txt), the only page that is printed is the first one from the
current selection...(that

I already compiled kdelibs 3.0.4 in KDE_3_0_BRANCH on a Woody, using
this optimizations: "-O3 -march=k6 -ffast-math -finline-functions
-malign-functions=4" and all goes well.
With kdebase the build succeeded, but during the install (debian/rules

This package (kdeprint_3.0.4) appears to be corrupt. I get a bad md5sum
error & downloading & trying to install also say package tar is corrupt.
What is the method for reporting such errors. Email ? someone. This list
is my contact point with Debian & KDE although I grabbed these packages

my directory with all details, I have this error:

I notices something odd though. If I start it from konqueror by
doubleclicking a media file it starts up flawlessly. However it doesn't
start playing and pressing play d
Noatun segfaults on startup and the noatun-plugins wants to uninstall
most of kde.
Investigations reveal a familiar problem:
libarts vs. libarts1
noatun-plugins wants the first, my kde the later.

I can't install libarts required by sdl games because of files owned by the
needed kde3.1 package libartsflow-data. See below.
How can I use kde3 but also playing sdl games ?

I am trying to compile kdevelop from source code. I am using KDE 3.0.3
and when I run the command:
/configure --prefix=$KDEDIR --x-includes=/usr/X11R6/include/X11
--x-libraries=/usr/X11R6/lib
