Actual bug-reporting in Debian is done using an email interface, but
reportbug-ng starts your mail client and fills in the necessary information.
Btw. it never hurts to also check the upstream KDE bugtracker:

I recently installed the 64-bit KDE desktop version of wheezy on my main
desktop machine.
Because this machine has 2TB disks, I configured the trash to use only 1% of
the drive, with "Delete oldest files from trash" set when the limit was reached.
However, when I did this, it seeme

For a long, long time, I had to delete the ~/Mail/trash file by hand,
because it would not compact.
Then, for a few months last year, compacting worked.
Now, it doesn't work again. I had to delete an 87MB trash file by
hand.
So I receive

Hi
My desktop is xfce4 but I like to use konqueror as my main file
manager. When I delete a file in konqueror, the files are actually
moved to trash:/ Now I am not using kde as a desktop, so I find it
difficult to empty the trash can.

Since one of the recent updates the trash bin is always displayed with a
full icon on my desktop, but there are no files in ~/Desktop/Trash
(apart from .directory).
The Icon setting in .directory is stuck at
Icon=trashcan_full
and apparently is not updated when the bin is emptied.
Is this
When I right-click on my trash bin icon on the desktop, there is no
option for emptying the trash bin. I'm running KDE 3.1. There is a "move
to trash" option, but i don't exactly want to do that! :)

the trash icon on the desktop. I added a line to my startup script that
deletes the trash directory in my home directory, however I was wondering if
there was a cleaner way to do it. Also, my roommate was wondering
anyone noticed that when you empty the trash bin (with the right mouseclick
menu), it doesn't delete the "hidden" files (starting with a "." ) ?
is this for a reason or is this a bug ?
