package rpm (thanks Andre!). Could you please test this also -

Can you try running kpackage from the command line and mail us the errors

when you see the drkonqui krash dialog, you should have a 'backtrace' tab.
if the problem is not yet known, the contents of that tab can be very
helpfull to determine the cause of the crash ...

I installed kde-2.1.2 with install task-kde. This set up a panel icon for
kpackage. But kpackage fails to start from icon or cmd line. Everything else
seems to work fine including aa fonts. Any ideas on fixing this?
