Hello,
you probably get errors because you are not including "-t debian-desktop"

Hi Nick,
please install using
apt-get -t debian-desktop kde-full
Please note that I lack time to correct an issue with USB automount (amd64 and
i386) and security updates.
If you prefer a stable solution you should stick to the official packages.
Thanks,
Martin

Is there a debian bug report for this? If not, should there be (or are
we all waiting till the Mesa fix makes it through unstable)?

Hello.
With some recenty upgrades Xorg can't find my video driver and KDE has loosed
the desktop effects.
You can fix it temporarily by doing this, changing "i915" by any other driver
your pc use.
ln -s /usr/lib/dri/i915_dri.so /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/dri/i915_dri.so

Hello,
I must change the configuration of my kde (kioslaverc) using a script.
When I change my kioslaverc using command line, I see the result in the file
but the change is not applied (A refresh on konqueror don't work).
When I make the same change via System settings that's work.

I also had to wipe .kde/share/apps/nepomuk/ before virtuoso would run

I think it would be very constructive to post here, on this list some

That would help getting more collaborators.

Igor asked this FAQ in a quite civil manner
I didn't help, that's true.
I'm too busy involved with other projects outside Debian, I'm just a
happy user. I greatly appreciate the free time that's spend in Debian
by lots of people! But that's not why these questions rise. It's
because we aren't properly informed over the progress, we were told

Don't you understand that Debian packagers work on KDE on their spare time,
and do it for fun?
Emails like this make the experience much less fun, so emails like this delay
everything.

versions of KDE. I.e. 4.6 instead of 4.6 RC1.
