Timidity is now part of KDE Multiledia, but it compiles with aRts support
and and some kind of ugly interface by default now.

aRts is a seperate package from kdemultimedia. You'll need to download that
and compile it before you compile kdem

I'm under Debian woody, kde 3.0.5a packages, and gcc-g++ 2.95
When I want comile some Kde apps, I've got a lot of 'undefined reference' (
ex: /usr/X11R6/lib/libkio.so: undefined reference to «

i downloaded several tar.gz's from the web to compile them local (because
there are no .deb packages out there).

The problem is, that all programs come with "old" /admin directories. In
those directories the check for automake greater 1.4 is made, and fails if
found such a v
