What you said is what I thought but what confuses me is both files were

to baloo-kf5 you can remove the second one). In general, I noticed that quite a
number of KDE related config files moved to $HOME/.config from
$HOME/.kde
Hi all! After updating the last Baloo related packages I've noticed a
high cpu and ram use.
Investigating that I've also noticed that now I've got 2 baloofilerc
(created at the same date and hour), in .config/baloofilerc and in
.kde/share/config/baloofilerc
Both are different:
