the crypto stuff is the sole reason for extra...it is the reason for the
other packages in there as the crypto packages rewquired a newer version
of libs

Right now (stable potato) if I add to my /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://kde.tdyc.com potato kde2 extra
an apt-get upgrade wants to upgrade these packages:
apache-dev php3-snmp php3-pgsql php3-mysql php3-gd php3 apa

Tomorrow (November 28th GMT-7) I will be wiping the files out of
kde.tdyc.com. I'm going to implement the new file structure so after tomorrow
you will have to hack your apt sources file.
Also at this time all the old contrib files and kde1 packages will be removed.
