Try deleting the .directory. It will be recreated for you and should fix the problem. On Saturday 10 January 2004 02:59 pm, Michael Schuerig wrote: > Since one of the recent updates the trash bin is always displayed with a > full icon on my desktop, but there are no files in ~/Desktop

Trash bin icon: always full

2004-01-10 Thread Michael Schuerig
Since one of the recent updates the trash bin is always displayed with a full icon on my desktop, but there are no files in ~/Desktop/Trash (apart from .directory). The Icon setting in .directory is stuck at Icon=trashcan_full and apparently is not updated when the bin is emptied. Is this

no "Empty Trash Bin"?

When I right-click on my trash bin icon on the desktop, there is no option for emptying the trash bin. I'm running KDE 3.1. There is a "move to trash" option, but i don't exactly want to do that! :) -- Jonathan Dietrich <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
