I optimized it for my pII. I compiled it with these options:
- CFLAGS / CXXFLAGS:
-pipe -march=i686 -ffast-math -finline-functions -fomit-frame-pointer
- configure options:
--enable-fast-malloc=full --enable-debug=no --disable-debug \
--prefix=/usr/local/kde
I lose a KDE bar applet in ever
