No. They are _not_ a backport for Sarge; they were the very same ones
we uploaded to experimental a while ago. The fact that they can be
installed in sarge is only a coincidence.

I've had similar trouble with 3.4.0, although it doesn't seem to be bound to
mounting anything. It's quite random, but only in file mode.

Works fine for me on i386.
I already had xorg but, so that was mainly an update fro 3.3.2 to 3.4.1.
Neverthless all your xorg got downloaded (that was normal).

My kmail 3.4.1 (alioth, amd64) segfaults all the time when deleting many mails
in a row (that's pressing "del" a couple of seconds...). Didn't use to happen
with 3.4.0 :(
