I am having the same problems, after upgrading to kde 3.3, my system crashes when I try to logout. Ctrl-alt-backspace, ctrl-alt-F1, ctrl-alt-del not respond, in fact numlock not work, so the keyboard and mouse are not responding. Ping from others machines works but ssh or sftp not. My system:
