dposerves is not run and therefore this applications fails to start (for
example it's happen very often with krusader file manager). Of course
dcopserver is up and running. Can in be fixed?

as quite error-prone on DCOPserver
problems. Most often you can resolve these by logging out and logging in on a
console and deleting ~/.DCOP* files. You may also need to check /tmp.

In the /usr/bin/kde2 start script, there is a nice hack, which often helps
when you e.g. suddenly don't see your desktop icons any more when starting
KDE2 etc.
rm -f $HOME/.DCOPserver
But on my machine the hostname is appended to the file .DCOPserver so
it looks like .DCOPserver_myho
