change the keyboard layout with the module from Kcontrol. I use fr, cs and us
layouts, and I don't know after the upgrade how to get it back together,
because I searched in another PC

I installed KDE 3.1 and when now when I try to start KDE, it keeps opening the
crash dialogs that knotify crashed with signal 11, I can't get rid of it, I
thought that it could be because of arts or something, but I really don't
know how to repair it.

I use Xcdroast version 0.98alpha10 (the latest for the moment) and it has a
non-root mode which is running pretty well. For debian I had to install it
from sources, but it went well.
I never had problems with xcdroast even if it's an alpha version (never
crashed, never destroyed a single CD

I'm fan of KDE and I found that konqueror is able to encode the audio CD's
directly into ogg (or mp3). I successfully did this action in my previous
SuSE Linux, but now when I installed KDE3 on Debian, I can't acces the audio
CD's this way.
