Konqueror problem

Hello everybody, it seems that konqueror expects the File Alteration Monitor and so it's falling back to polling directories for their content since Debian Linux has no fam/imon support. This puts a lot of unnecessary load on our network. What to do? ( I do not want recompile everything :-)) Th
