i have a strange Problem here:

In Konsole for example if I press backspace while I am at the
beginning of the command line it normally beeps because I am already

I have installed the inofficial KDE3 from geniussystems on my woody
box.
Before that I used KDE222 without problems.
But now I have a Problem with Jpeg Images.
In every Preview-Window (e.g. OpenFile Dialog) I only get the
"BrokenFile" Icon.
Its not possible to use a jpeg as Background

Like others I'va had the Problem that on KDE login artsd did not
start automatically even when it was configured to do so.
Here is what I have done to make it working. With this solution
artsd starts when it is configured to do so *And* does not if "Start
artsd on KDE startup" is *not* chec
