clicking on an html link opens it from /var/cache

2005-02-20 Thread John van Spaandonk
Hi, Recently I've been puzzled by the following problem. When I click on a weblink in kmail konqueror pops up but opens the file from the cache. For instance clicking on the link www.van-spaandonk.nl will open a konqueror window with this link in the URL: file:/var/tmp/kdecache-johnWjGLDO/krun/4

Konqueror menu bar disappearing spontaneously...

Since upgrading KDE a week or so ago in some situations the menus disappear from konqueror the web browser and the file manager. I can easily reproduce this by doing: ctrl-t for new tab going to an ftp site It seems that whenever the interface is redrawn the menus disappear. Any suggestions? Thx

Hi, I installed Debian by upgrading Debian from stable through testing to unstable (sid) (since at the time the testing installer did not work) and I have no such problems. Best John On Sunday 21 March 2004 19:48, Bruce wrote: > > I notice that, on my Debian/Libranet system, KDE unstable has >
