Tweak Kopete to render BBCode

Hello all, I was wondering whether there was any sort of Kopete plugin or other method to tweak the app into rendering BBCode? It's aesthetically unpleasing to have to bear with the millions of formatiing tags used by certain ladies (and some men as well, to be fair) in my msn contact list... Reg
