Interesting thread, I had issues with my bank and Konq also. I did notice
that Iceweasel, which works, enables ssl v3.0 & tls only, while Konq
enabled those plus ssl v2.0. Disabled ssl v2.0 and Konq works.

My $.02. I am using Konqueror 3.5.6. When I installed adobe flash from

here.

On my Etch box Kghostview is not listed as a choice for viewing PDF
files. The 'file association dialog' seems to work as expected here.
Can you remove kghostview from the choices, and not delete it from your

Shared video memory is slower, uses system memory, afaik. 'hdparm

this way you don't get the 'The following packages have been kept back:'

You can run 'deborphan' to find any libraries left behind. You (almost) never

KDE 3.3.2, Sarge.
A feature of kmail composer is a drop down list of recent addresses when
typing in the TO: field. The address in recent-addresses is wrong, and
I cant's find a way to change the address. There is not a
recent-address group in kaddressbook. A small but annoying glitch.

I don't get any popup alarms using kmail in kontact. I set the alarm, I
can see the alarm with the 'show' option. Is there any error output
logs to view ?. I am using Wmaker as a desktop, if that makes a
difference.

If I change to a different terminal before installing grub, using 'df' I

additional packages are needed. Dselect does a more complete job of
satisfying depends, or you could do 'apt-get -s intall' on the held

work so well here.
