If konqueror crashes all the windows, open tabs etc. are lost. Other
browsers (e.g. opera, galeon) have nice crash handlers and I can
restore the session with all open windows and tabs that were open at
the moment before crashing. Is there anything similar for konqueror?
Thanks,
Burkhard

KDE is
lost so I want to save the session information before every suspend.
Any hints?
TIA,

Sometimes my X server freezes. I can switch to a text konsole and want
to shutdown KDE cleanly (like a logout from the KDE menu). How do I do
it? Just a kill a process (and which one)? Another way?
Thanks,

During upgrade a warning appears that X starts now with "-nolisten
tcp" :-) . See /etc/X11/kdm/Xservers, delete "-nolisten tcp".

I'm running a potato system on a Toshiba 8000 laptop.
Since an upgrade about two weeks ago I see the known "Can't enter any
letters in kdm window, only after a X restart" bug. Not so important
but annyoing.
Since the last upgrade (yesterday) KDE seems to work slower than
before (startup is slower
How can I start a script to read any input before KDE exits?
Before KDE 2.1 I had this in .xsession:
,
|
| # Now start KDE
| startkde
| # KDE has finished, start a xterm with a logout script
| xterm -e path_to_logout_script
`
When I quit KDE the xterm opens and starts the logout script.
How can I view gzipped HTML pages in konqueror? It's no problem in
Netscape to open and view a file "index.html.gz", for example.
I've played with file associations and found under "embedding" a "GZip
Filter", but I can't get any useful results. And I can't find any
documentation about embedding.
