y by tomorrow's dinstall (26 hours
away or so).
Apparently some KDE stuff is unnecessarily depending on the compat headers too,
which could be fixed.
HTH.

I don't speak for anyone save myself. GPG s
eory the maintainer should notice this immediately, and not do an
upload at all. Is there any reason for the maintainer not to notice, if
s/he does any testing at all?
It'd be nicer, though, if it failed to link at all, assuming it's never
going to work. Is there any way to achieve th

Policy requires packages to accurately specify their dependencies with
a Depends: line; packages that used to Depend: on libqt, libpng2 are now

Nope, it actually depends on older packages on powerpc; the obsolete "arts"
package, in particular. Powerpc needs to do a rebuild, and looks like it
probably will fairly shortly.

kdemultimedia is mysterious. :-/
koffice is too recent at the moment.
kdegames is waiting on an arm rebuild, which was waiting on a kdelibs
rebuild, but should now be ready to go.

I don't speak for
necessarily for the faint of heart though. If you want to wait
'til its fixed and clean and documented, you'll need to wait 'til woody's
released, or at least, nearly so.

I don't
oad.
Or you can probably use apt's pinning mechanism to make it auto-upgrade
kde/experimental packages. Something like:
Package: *kde*
Pin: release a=experimental
Pin-Priority: 900
might work. Don't blame me if it breaks your system though. :)
