Upon further investigation, I find that I've run into Bug #393041. gksu
works fine, so I'll just use that till the bug is fixed.

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I need to try...
For some reason I can no longer restart kwavecontrol as root. It starts
fine, and then when I try, and enter my root password, it fails
stating "Incorrect password" even though the password is correct.
I purged and reinstalled, but
I use beryl... see www.beryl-project.org and the forum.

Hi,
Since updating to 3.5.5 end-last-week and this weekend I appear to have
lost my todo lists from korganizer.
The calendar's are still there but the todo's are not.
Anyone already know how to fix this?
Thanks

disable the screen corner modifying the configuration:
- for compiz-vanilla with gconf
- compiz-quinnstorm gset-compiz
- beryl, beryl-settings or similar...
Hi,
I'm currently running compiz + kde on Debian.
Works great.
I've seen only one annoying problem. Currently moving the mouse pointer to the
upper right corner brings the effect of showing all the active program windows
with a fade. This is annoying because the close button is also present there
My KDE upgrade from 3.5.4 to 3.5.5 fixed the "removable devices auto mount
issue". So your problem should be a different one.
Thanks,
