Iam building my first debian .The following error is coming
when i try to build the package:
libtool:install:you must specify a destination
[make1]:install error 1
[make1] :leaving directory ,/root/debian/..
make :install error 2
can anybody help me to solve this probl

Thanks for the link, Florian. I installed the "avahi-daemon" package as
suggested by one of the threads in the link, and that seems to have solved my
problems.

Hello,
could you tell me how to create keyboard shortcuts in KDE and whether they
work or not?
I wanted to create some shortcuts for inserting commonly used text.
I went to control center, regional settings and accessibility, keyboard
actions/shortcuts (rough translation, I use localized version)
I'm running sid with kde 3.5.1. After upgrading last night a few problems
developed: konqueror can no longer use cookies. Also, kded crashes at startup
and I get a sigabrt message. And the wallet manager no longer seems to work.
Has anyone else had these problems?

After i upgraded from kde 3.5.0-3 to 3.5.1-1 my keyboard setting did'nt work
anymore. I checked "Regional & Accessibility" -> "Keyboard Layout" in
kcontrol, and nothing was selected .because the "keyboard model" pulldown is
empty. Does anyone know how i kan add the keyboards back again ?

I'm recently noting something weird with the "location" toolbar in konqueror.
When I open a new konqueror, I have two rows of toolbars; the first with the
"previous", "next", "up", etc. buttons, and the second with the "location"
toolbar.
But if I maximize the window, the "location" row is
