What's you gateway? I am not sure whether it happens to me as well, because
I haven't probably met any multipart message
Hi, I've been working in koffice 1.5 alpha packages for Sarge
(because they're required to create a klik package to put in a OpenDocument
Fellowship CD this Monday).
I've uploaded them to http://pkg-kde.alioth.debian.org/koffice-1.5-sarge/ so
you can test/enjoy them (only in Sarge). Please note

Upon further testing, the automounter has nothing to do with it.
I tried under olwm, so the kde automounter isn't running. CDs verified
just fine, no trouble at all. I wrote a data DVD and the verify
failed to read the disk at all again.

I read my mailing lists using knode and a mail2news gateway, however since
upgrading to KDE 3.5 knode dies when tying to open multipart/signed messages.
Some investigation shows that the mail2news gateway truncates the

Kapke and Isaac,
Thank you, your suggestions worked perfectly. I allowed k3b and k3blibs
to be removed during the dist-upgrade and then reinstalled them
afterwards and all is working.
And thanks to the debian-kde development team. KDE 3.5 is noticeably
faster than it's predecessor. Prettier too.

Hi!
I'm experiencing the same problems. I removed k3b and k3blibs, installed kde
and tried to reinstall k3b. I'm getting the message that
dbus-1 (>= 0.23.4)
dbus-qt-1c2 (>= 0.23.4)
libhal0 (>= 0.4.0)
are not installable. Dunno, I'm pretty new with Linux, so probably you can
help me out...

A problem with the state of your system, k3blibs has bee
Hello,
I've been waiting to upgrade my Sid box to KDE3.5 as apt has been wanting
to remove k3b and k3blibs but there seems to have been no progress on
this. When I check for bugs all the bugs marked grave have been marked
as done.
Running apt-get -o Debug::pkgProblemResolver=yes dist-upgrade

Hi. Clean install of Sid, as of Wednesday, and up to date this
morning. I expect this is a new "feature" of KDE 3.5.
I'm burning a data DVD with K3b, which seems to go well, but when it
comes time to verify...
The disk is ejected
