Hello there. I have the following problem: KDE applications have problems
connecting to the internet. If I use Konqueror (for example), I get a lot of
Unknown Host errors. I usually have to reload the page to actually read it.
However, apparently the problem is in DNS lookup, because if I write

Hmm looks like ftp-master is not in a hurry. Can I download the i386 package
somewhere when it's in the NEW queue?
And why is it there, anyway (after all, it is not a new package)?

Hello Zack,
thank you very muc
Blast it all, digging like a tick in the www.k3b.org mailing
lists did find it,
"remove ~/.k3b/share/config/k3brc"
Sure enough, now the project window is showing up as a part of
the main k3b window, just like the screenshots.
Hope this can help the next person with this problem.

Good afternoon.
Up to date Sid, plus various from ftp.nerim.net
Yesterday, K3b had a "project" window, today it doesn't. Nothing
I do, "create new project", "add files to project", or even
launching K3b by selecting a .k3b file, will open the "project"
window.
Any suggestions of other things

I don't think so, or root wouldn't be able to access it either. Please

I then converted back to FAT32 and again it worked the first time. I unmounted
it, removed it, plugged

But that pen drive works without errors if mounted manually?
It seem's that it has filesystem errors on it, or it has damaged sectors...

The reason is very simple. All new nvidia drivers don't support
composite. You have to use version 699x!
But don't ask me, wheather this version supports your video
card. Ask NVidia -
or better, ask them why they have dropped support for
composite.
