I am using KDE 3.3.2 on Debian Sid. Recently the following problem has cropped
up. Whenever playing back multimedia (audio and/or video) there are brief
pauses. This happens with XMMS, and also Xine.
There is no problem if I use the Gnome desktop. I guess I will be switching to
Gnome

in my /etc/samba/smb.conf, and if I mount my shares with mount -t smbfs, the

in .bash_profile. I'm a bit stumped as to why that is troublesome,
though I guess it must conflict with the env var set by X (which is
just 0:0).

All of the superkaramba propaganda talks about how great it is, so I decided
to try it. I install the Debian package, and run the program. The little
bomb appears. So far, so good.
