The modfications to file assocations are stored in the

Hello all,
[Sorry for the crossposting, please follow-up to debian-kde only.]
KDE 3.3.2 in experimental

As you may have noticed, many KDE 3.3.2 modules have been uploaded
to experimental during the last few days. These packages include
numerous fixes to
Ave!
I found text below. It explains some questions.
KDE Menu
How it Works
In KDE 3.2 a common menu format is introduced at
http://freedesktop.org/Standards/menu-spec/
Before KDE 3.2:
* Directory structure under share/applnk
* Directory structure represents menu structure
* Each .d
Is there some way to "wrap" a non-KDE application somehow, so that the session

Found the simple solution on another site:
http://archives.real-time.com/pipermail/kde-redhat-users/2004-February/000796.html
It is only difficult to locate the lock directory that has to
be emptied that is:
~/.kde/share/apps/kabc/lock/

Although I have been using kmail for a long time, I have only recently started
to look at using the address book.
kaddressbook has been set up with a few entries in it.
If I go to kmail tools menu and select "address book", I open kaddressbook and
can select entries from it and use it to send
