Or is it flagging key words?
When sending an internet link through e-mail, kspell flagged several words in
red. I did a spell check on the letter and no errors were reported. The
attached PNG shows a screen capture of this inconsistency.

Hi,
I dist-upgraded my sid box to KDE-3.2.1 and ran into some more problems than I
saw on the list...
1. KDM login.
When I login via KDM as my usual user on my single-user system, X immediately
crashes, regardless which windowmanager I choose. I can login (even to KDE)
via GDM without any pro
I've uploaded the new package to unstable.

thank you for your help, but I think I need some more hints...

What about Xnest? Configure kdm to do xdmcp stuff and connect from
your normal KDE session to kdm:
# Xnest -query localhost :10
Adjust the size via -geometry and just ksnapshot ;-)

Switch to a console with Ctrl-Alt-F1 (or login remotely via SSH) and run:
xwd -display :0 -root | convert - png:kdmpic.png

Then do
apt-get update
apt-get install x-window-system-core
That was the solution! I just finished installing it and it's runnin
How can I take a screenshot of the kmd login screen?
should I "copy" the video memory area holding the screen ? (buffer?) to a

Any ideas?

I can't confirm. Works fine here with 2.6.3-1-k7 without ide-scsi.

Hi !
I'm using kde-3.0.5/kde-3.2 from unstable and I have big trouble with fonts.
The "fixed width"-fonts are looking ugly blurred, and are closly to be
unreadable.
If I try to change to another "fixed width" font in the kontrolcenter
I only have one font named "fixed" in my font-selection.

Hello together
I would like to integrate an Rssfeed into the Summary view of Kontact.
This should be possible as it can be seen on the Kontact homepage.
The KNewsTicker works fine in his own panel (but not sure if Kontact uses
this one) but inside

They seem to work fine under kernel 2.4.25 using ide-scsi, but k3b still locks
up solid using 2.6.3 without ide-scsi.

Thanks in advance

I have a wonderful demonstration, but it does'nt fit in the signature.
Thank you. The packages seem to work fine here.

simply because I forget the pa

The packages that were installed via Aptitude are:

This worked for me:

and removed the following line from kdm-np:

This is a known bug, KDE #67891. Vote for it to encourage the
powers-that-be to fix it for 3.2.2.
I experienced the crashes as well, though I found that if I added the
Quick Launcher, didn't touch it (or did I simply add new icons but not
rearrange them? Can't recall...), and then restarted KDE
