IIRC, a recent update of Qt-mt broke all the KDE styles. A fresh release of
the KDE debs should solve this problem.

IIRC you need to set it up/configure it at three different locations:
Hi,
here is the third problem I encountered with KDE3 (3.0.2): I no longer
can copy and paste between other applications and mc. (I didn't change
mc when I changed from KDE2 to KDE3. And I have the problem also over
a ssh connection to a mc of a different Unix variant.)
When I try to paste with t
I did an apt-get install of liquid 9.5 yesterday. I have the color
scheme and window decorations but the style doesn't show up - so no
translucent menus etc.
any thoughts?
I installed the debs from the link on Mosfets site
Hi,
I'm having some troubles with XEmacs running in KDE 3.0.2 from geniussystems.
In XEmacs "M-x praise-be-unto-xemacs" should play a sound file saying "I'm
happy, I'm so happy". This works e.g. if I'm running XEmacs in fvwm95, not so
in KDE 3.0.2!? In KDE all I get is a "I" or a "I'm" or "I'm

FWIW, konverse is still in the middle of a major rewrite and my impression is
that it's not particularly usable in its current state. Like Rob, I'd
recommend using
Just got 3.0.2 installed, and have found that many kde apps have certain menu
bar items either missing completely, or "No text!" displayed in place of what
should be there. Big problem in Kmail. There is no Settings option on the
menu bar. In it's place, "No text!" The submenu it produces h

Download libqt and libqt-mt version 3.0.4-2 manually then use
'dpkg -i '.

I have installed kdevelop (2.1.2 also tested 2.1.3) and kdelibs4-doc and was
wondering why kdevelop does not recognise the KDE-library documentation from
kdelibs4-doc. Even pointing kdevelop at the proper location does not work.
The downloaded KDE API Reference works. So can anyone tell me if I'm d

'dpkg -i oldversion.deb'
Of course, you'll need the 'old' deb files.
If you are using apt (apt-get, aptitude, kpackege etc.) yo

I did in fact have a few remnants of 2.2.2 laying around. I systematically
removed all traces of KDE via dselect, then manually went through and
removed all directories that dselect 'couldn't remove - not empty'.
Near as I can tell any and all traces of KDE were removed. I started from
scratch in
