Is there a way to manage multiple logins with kdm and X? I have an office
computer which is often used by other people as well, and if somebody
wants to read emails or do something, I have to log out.. or as an
alternative solution I could start a new X server..

I managed it to run my Epson Stylus Color 880 (an USB Printer) using
CUPS. First tried to cofigurate the Printer via the KDE Control Center
but i failed (no useful output). Then i tried to manage the configuration
via http://localhost:631/admin . In this way i had success.
Now my quest
My .profile file is as follows:
