I had been burning ISO's of Woody from files I had copied from DVD. The DVD
and CD-RW are on the same IDE port.
As One ot the CD's was burning away, I tried to check out the DVD, and my
system locked up tighter than a drum!

I did a fresh install of woody some days ago. All works fine, and I'm
surprised of the speed debians KDE has. I had a selfcompiled objprelinked KDE
2.2.1 before (Mandrake 8.0+) but KDE now nearly is 100% faster! Thanks for
your great job in packaging KDE!

Hi,
you say it works with Mozilla which makes me guess they use
smtp-authentication which is being used by some ISPs nowadays.
POP-before-SMTP support might have been dropped at the same time. I don't
know cuz I _don't_ Yahoo =8P
