probs previewing pics (kde-2.1.0.1-potato)

Is Konquorer failing to show previews of pics for anyone else? e.g., /usr/share/icons/locolor/32x32/filesystems has 45 pics, only 13 get previewed (not the first 13 in the dir either, as per "ls -f"). It is not a matter of impatience on my part, Konq has been displaying that dir for the last hour -

Is http://kde.debian.net/ the new main site? Dig'ging seems to indicate that it's just an alias for tdyc.com? Have I missed an important announcement? Is kde.tdyc.com back online? Hmm, questions, questions, questions.

As an update to an earlier post, the most recently version of libfreetype6 in unstable (see below), DOES work with the latest KDE packages from unstable and with anti-aliased fonts. Note that this is 2.0.1.20010312, and NOT 2.0.1.20010308. Also please note that the latest KDE packages (4:2.1.0.1

I have had a problem with kscd for the last several releases in that it will not play more than 1 song off a cd unless you have it set to shuffle play. Does anyone have luck with this? I can use XMMS and it works just fine. I have the latest .debs installed on Potato. TIA! -- John Greer

Problems with nvidia 0.9-767

KDE doesn't seem to work with NVIDIA 0.9-767 X driver. kdesktop and other kde processes crash immediately when started. Everything works fine with NVIDIA-0.9.6, though. I'm running latest unstable with kernel 2.4.2 if that matters. KDE is from latest Debian packages, kernel and NVIDIA driver I hav
