Hi folks,
Just a quick announcement to let you know that there's a new version of
PVCj available which works with the newest versions of Java Plugin (1.2).
For those who have no idea what I am talking about, PVCj (Plugin Version
Control for Java) is a free tool which enable
a system of handling bugs as quickly and
effectively as possible. Why have just a maintainer to a package? Why
not a maintainer and a couple of apprentice developers that the
maintainer trusts, etc.
This is just a simple form of possibles. I'm sure you all know
variations of the same.

Hi Stephane,
It has been my experience that there are two types of engineers in the
world. The ones who tell you why something can't be done and the ones
who make the concept happen. My letter to you folks was to open up
possibilities. Good luck.

I've been following debian-hurd myself the last few months. If you

Hi Seth,
I think HURD has potential from the fact that it is an operating
system rather than a language. Implementation of the java 2.0 specs may
not be constrained by sun's license, although I'm not sure.

Hi,
I remember playing with Pad++ back in the early days of Gnome - it was

Somebody should check this out - it's been rewritten in Java and it's
now under the MPL.

I've been testing my Kaffe build under the Hurd. Most simple java programs
