I discovered that, by mistake, inside the pom.xml (automatically
patched from dpkg src 3.0 quilt system) I had added:
false
in the maven-surefire-plugin tag.
It seems that this value takes precedence over maven.properties file
and -Dmaven.test.skip cmdline argument.

Hi Tony,
I've now uploaded a version containing a fix for #620122 based on the
patch provided by Ubuntu in the bug report. I think this should go into
experimental for some testing initially.
