It looks from Dalibor's mail that the bugs were closed only in upstream
kaffe. If the bugs are still present in debian, they must remain open
in the debian BTS. You can add the tag fixedupstream to let people k

Umm, based on the current (1.1.1-5.2) Kaffe changelogs, not all of
them are closed. The latest upstream changelog entry is from
2003-0
