I have uploaded version 0.05 of the GNU Classpath java libraries.
This package is useful for:
1) Users compiling java programs without depending on non-free libraries
from Sun.
2) Debian maintainers compiling java packages without depending on
non-free libraries from Sun.
3) Using free JVMs to ru

I try to install Jbuilder 8 Personal Edition (without a previous JRE
installed), but after I lunch the installer:

There are only two possibilites: Either the jbuilder startup script is buggy or
you lack a class (or a jar file, resp.).
I propose you first print out the full java command in the startup script
(probably /opt/jbuilder8/bin/jbuilder), which you find at the very last line,
and look for each jar fil
