Sun JDK font.properties

Sorry if this is a FAQ, but I can't find an answer/solution. I need a font.properties that works under sid. I'm using Sun's jdk, v1.4b2. No matter what I do, I can't get it to find any of the symbol fonts. Thanks. jason
