Yes: mod_jk has been removed from the archives together with Tomcat 3.x
and I did not yet upload the new libapache-mod-jk package. A package for
the latest Apache 1.3 packages is available

woody, but this package has been removed from testing and unstable at my
request. This means that only tomcat4 is available there.
I have cerated a new source package for mod_jk. It has not yet been
uploaded to the official Debian archive but can be downloaded from

I believe mod_jk is obsolete. The current Apache/Tomcat connector in
unstable is libapache2-mod-webapp.

Hi there,
I hope this is the right list -- let me know if I should be sending
this to debian-user.
I have an instance of Tomcat 4.0.4 (the testing package) running on my
almost-all-woody machine. On its own tomcat seems to work fine, but as
far as I can make out it doesn't interact at all with

version that I can use to do this or can I only use the mod_web_app.

hello,
I installed mod_jk to make Apache work together with Tomcat.
Since I have woody I got Tomcat 3.2.
I put
