A while ago, I packaged cpptasks [2] (ant-contrib-cpptasks), and
recently I have been trying to get more active regarding Debian stuff,
with some regularity.
I have made some updates to the package, the major things being fixing
all the lintian issues, and updating the format of the copyright
I think I might go with ant-contrib-cpptasks after all as I think this
provides the best representation of both its status and role. I used the
mv command as you suggested to modify the name of the jar file. I have
now uploaded the package to the mentors site.
Thanks for all your help,
Chris

On the subject of the package name, should it be libcpptasks-java or
libant-contrib-cpptasks-java as the cpptasks does not acknowledge its
part in the ant contrib project or something else?
Also the package also builds the jar file such that it is named
cpptasks.jar. It needs to be named cpptasks-
Ok, I see your point, I would not be able to package lejos properly
anyway until this is done. I will file a ITP bug instead.
Thanks for you advice,
Chris

You can file an RFP bug, but they tend to pile up for a long time. As
this library is quite easy and self contained, it's a good training, so
give it a try and ask the list for any help.

Thanks for the info, I would like to help but have no packaging
experience and am already working on my first package, another java app
(lejos nxj). Should I file a RFP bug?
Thanks,
Chris

cpptasks are in a different project in the upstream code repository, so
they have not been packaged with ant-contrib.
If you want to help packaging this little library, read here

I am looking to compile a program that builds using the cpptasks
( http://ant-contrib.sourceforge.net/cpptasks/index.html ) project for
ant, it looks to be part of the ant-contrib project but as far as I can
tell, it is not packaged along with the ant-contrib package on Debian.
Am I missing somethi
