I presume openjdk-6 removal is the last thing to be done here.
ftpmaster can't do that until icedtea-web stops building
icedtea-6-plugin I think: https://bugs.debian.org/720911#36

mple, the PortConfig issue that
broke icedtea-web, was already fixed there).
I'm signed up now to receive notifications of openjdk-7 package uploads
and build failures, so I should at least know of problems a bit sooner,
before you have to ping kfreebsd porters about it.

outdated kfreebsd binaries could be removed by
ftpmaster if you'd like the package to migrate.

to send our patches upstream also. I'd appreciate any advice on how to
go about doing that.
Ideally we could consistently have openjdk-7 as default on all of
Debian's release arches and be moving *away* from gcj-jdk.

I thought it might give us a head-start porting new Java apps to
kfreebsd-*, but yes it would be nice to keep kfreebsd-i386 in sync.
The problem seen during libreoffice build might even be related to the
openjdk-7 build issue on kfreebsd-i386.

Hi Java maintainers,
Please could kfreebsd-amd64 be added to the list of openjdk-7 arches on
the next upload of java-common? (patch attached)
kfreebsd-i386 may follow in the future but it is not ready yet.

OTOH some packages may switch to openjdk-7 post-wheezy or ship a new
upstream version that has at least been fixed to be able to use it.
