Hi Daniel,
The Sun SDK is free both to use and to sell programs that have been
compiled with it. The problem with it is only in terms of the source
code for the SDK itself. Java developers are not free to review the
source and/or improve on it.

I have been using tomcat for about three years but I can't work it out.
This problem occurs both on one PC running Woody and another running
testing/unstable.
Tomcat will start normally when run from the command line eg:
/etc/init.d/tomcat4 st
