So if I am reading correctly between the lines your answer means, that I have to start completely from scratch, do all the work on my own, and there are no current plans by anybody to support GF 3.x already? I wonder what then actually is the idea of having a maintainer registered for GlassFish? >

I noticed that even jessie and sid both still provide the same outdated GlassFish 2.x release, while there is GlassFish 3.x release available since years. I am an experienced Java Programmer and GlassFish administrator and would love to see jessie to provide 3.x instead of 2.x. What do I have to do
