The Ant build file looks to be generated by Maven. When it compiles
PicoContainer it downloads some dependancies from a Maven repository
instead of picking up what Debian has.
I suspect that I should write a new build file for PicoContainer. How
have other people debianized a Maven pro
Thanks to the work of Matthias Klose and Joris Patroons, Debian
packages for Blackdown J2SE 1.4.2-01 are available for i386 and AMD64
now.
To use the Debian packages, you have to add the following line to
/etc/apt/sources.list:
deb /debian/ sarge non-free
Replace with your favorite Bla
I recently discovered java-package, and used it to build a local JRE
package from Sun's j2re 1.4.2_06. After installing it, Eclipse
consistently crashes whenever I try to save any file. If I remove the
Debian-generated package and use Sun package alone, Eclipse is fine.
