Looking to the debian meta-packages, I show the following packages:
java-compiler
java2-compiler
java1-runtime
java2-runtime
Why java-compiler dont be named java1-compiler? java1-compiler its
more self explanatory.

I'd be glad to adopt your package but I am not (yet) a Debian
Developer. May be you can upload the two packages I updated:
