I installed the JDK1.3 and Tomcat4 packages from Blackdown (on my potato
system) - and everything worked fine right from the start :D
init.d calls /usr/bin/tomcat4 which is a link to
/usr/share/tomcat4/bin/catalina.sh

I have no luck to even start Tomcat4. In the package, the init.d was
looking for /usr/bin/tomcat4? what is that...? Anyway is all the
lib in mod_webapp.so required install? (guessing)
ldd mod_webapp.so
see you miss any lib ( for luck ) :)

Does anyone know how I can set up Debian's php4

tomcat4 package? I've found various references
online to something called "phpservlet" that's
part of php's distribution, but I can't seem to
find it in the php4 package.
Thanks,
