Your MTU may be smaller due to a router somewhere or a tunnel on
one of your links... Ethernet usually always has 1500 - unless
you change it manually yourself.
What sort of traffic is it?

Where do people shove their content roots?
How do you securely allow individual sites to have CGI access?
Directory structures, permission structures, account structures etc etc

I'm running Apache 1.3.9, currently the box has 183 websites on one IP. I'm
planning to add another 200. Is there any limit to the number of virtual
websites that can run from a single IP address.

extra for the fixed IP addresses
one of our satellite customers are running an open mail

their technician can get onsite to fix the mail server (sigh), I want to

The machine is running woody and is up to date, SSH version 3.0.2p1-6.
I have already tried purging the package and downloading it again (will
check the MD5 sums afterward to make sure).
