Hi,
How would one go about setting up an ssl server. Do I need to purchase a
certificate for Verisign or anything ? What are the costs involved ?
I've found OpenSSL - Is that adequate for an online shop ? Also, how
difficult is it to set up SSL / Apache SSL.
Thanks,
Shri

Hello Folks:
I call a local script from...
/etc/logrotate.d/apache
...in Debian 3.0 to run Analog reports. It is supposed to run once a
week, but it runs every day:
/var/log/apache/*.log {
weekly
missingok
rotate 52
compress
delaycompress
At least yours runs. I finally gave up and wrote a perl script to
rotate mine. ugh

Also, to practice, go set up an unsigned certificate box right now (YES

local users and some Email lists. I've got rav filtering for
"malware" using its own daemon and I've pulled the spamassassin deb

Hi there,
please consider that FreeSwan is a really massive pain in the ass (imho). The
configuration is kind of illogical (especially when and why "nexthop" is
needed) and if you want to connect two hosts with dynamic adresses you have to
restart it with all tunnels going down as a result.

Hi all,
We've been using Spamcop (http://www.spamcop.net) for... well... ever
since I last discuss this on the Debian-ISP mailing list a long while
back.
We chose to go with Spamcop because of it's "democratic" voting system, in
which a number of people would have to send in a spam report (contai

I want to be able to pull the /dev/hdb and /dev/hda out; then replace
/dev/hda with this /dev/hdb.
So when I do this I get Lilo's "L" error message. It can't find t
